Review opinions needed

I was going to list these four cards in a 63 set break tonight, but after a closer look I wondered if I should review any of them. Any spots that show are on the scanner, not the cards. Any opinions would be welcome, thanks.

From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

  • I would send in the Berra and the Clemente for review.
I think the Aaron has a little tilt which keeps it at 8 and the Cepeda T/B centering keeps it in 8 holder. JMHO

i guess i know what i'll be doing a week from tonight. image
  • I would think the centering would keep the Clemente in a 9 holder.

Centering issues on Cepeda and Clemente keep them where they are IMHO.

The bottom-left corner of the Berra, as well as the right red edge look like they'd keep it at an 8.

Not sure on the Aaron. It's a bit OC.....I'm not sure how that would affect it on a possible bump.

  • The Berra only in my opinion. I'm actually quite shocked the Clemente got a 9 with that centering. Since the 1/2 pt. system was implemented they seem to be WAY tougher on '63s. Good luck. I love the '63 set though... thanks for sharing.
  • Jeff,
Go ahead and make plans for next Tuesday. Think I might take a flyer on a couple of reviews, looks like it'll go up next Sunday or Monday.

I think the Berra and Aaron are worth a shot. I think they are just misses; but very strong for the present grade. Don't waste your time with the Clemente.
  • IMO you have them pictured in the exact order of bump likelihood, with the Berra being the most likely.

I am very confident that both the Cepeda and the Clemente currently reside in their highest possible holder.

    Absolutely beautiful cards.
