Interesting feedback numbers

While I have given up selling on ebay for almost 2 years now, I do keep up with a lot of the feedback changes/nonsense that goes on over there. I do sell on sportlots a little, mainly to move some of the lower dollar cards without having to pay an arm and a leg to do so.
When looking at feedback, when I was on ebay, I had nearly 900 FB with zero negs and many sellers do as well, however, when selling on sportlots, I already have two neutrals, for stupid reasons IMO, but whatever. I did a random check of about 50 different sellers on SL and found that NONE of them have perfect feedback and that most have multiple neuts and negs. It is curious to note that on SL, there is no feedback extortion, retaliatory FB, DSR's to fool with, etc etc.
My theory on this is that the low dollar cards tend to bring the more casual buyer to the site and are not as familiar with what constitutes FB, so they are genuinely honest about it, whereas on ebay, feedback is being used as a manipulative tool, not only by the buyers, but by the site itself. I realize of course, sportlots is a haven for people selling questionable items, but I think that is a very low number, even compared to ebay. In short, feeback is only important to an extent on SL and people are a little more honest. On ebay a neut is actually looked at as a neg sometimes, by both the buyer and seller, on SL, it is what it is, an "ok" transaction

IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Neutral #1: Buyer buys the SAME exact item from my store and another store. Feedback says "great seller". But he actually paid LESS from me than the other seller who he left positive for but he gives me a neutral.
Neutral #2: Buyer buys 3 different items, all ship in same package. His feedback for each item says "On time/As described. Would do business again." But he leaves 2 positives and 1 neutral.
I have no explanation. I've screwed up on a few other orders - sent wrong item, switched 2 addresses. But working with those buyers made everything work out in the end and they left positives.
Second issue is getting dinged for communication. If you are shipping a decent quantity each day and you ship fast so the item arrives within a few days, isn't the automated Ebay responses more then enough? As long as I get my item in a decent time frame, what in the world do I expect from a high volume seller? Daily updates? Hourly?
I got two (2) for communication over the past 3 months... why? who knows, i email them when they went, and send a thank you email with their confirmation number, in the other categories they gave me all 5's.
Some buyers are idiots. You send them the invoice, send the item---that should be good for most; but there's always the occasional idiot.

what was said about the transaction.
If I win an auction , i pay with 24 to 48 hrs. done deal. please don't contact me just ship the item. when i receive item I leave positive feedback and 5 stars across the board. don't put me on your mailing list if I want something I will find you.
2. if I don't receive the item within 14 days of paying I will contact you and wait for response. if you respond I will wait another 7-14 days for the item. No item within 28 days give me a refund or a good explanation,if not I open up a paypal claim.
I hate these picky buyers that cry over stated postage or how long the post office took to deliver the item. once the item is in the mail I can't control how long it takes.
I also believe the customer isn't always right. sometimes they are just idiots/morons/scam artists/ect ect .
