Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Ok. No more Boise/VT updates. Wife made me do the nightly reading with our youngest. 15 minutes behind on DVR. Just kicking off second half in my house!!! Go Hokies!!!
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
Great job on the contest, even though I didn't win and therefore must have been rigged.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
-the 1990 Score Supplemental set (withOUT Emmitt). It actually was unclaimed from last night.
-not one, not two, but THREE MINT 1987 Donruss Kevin Brown rookies. (Two are PSA 9; one is raw but just as nice.)
-1990-91 Upper Deck Hockey High Number factory set. This was one of the hobby's hottest sets 20 years ago. Fedorov, Bure, Niedermayer, Lindros World Juniors Canada, etc. This was about $60-$70 in the day (and probably more in Canada-- NOT including GST!).
-1990-91 Score Hockey Traded. Basically everything as written as above. No Bure or Niedermayer but has Feds, Jagr, Lindros, Sundin, Nolan, Ricci and a Gretzky 2000th point card.
-1990-91 Score Hockey Traded. A crappier version of 1990 Score Traded but includes stars such as Lindros (again), Shanahan (when he went to the Blues), LaFontaine (becoming a Sabre), Messier (becoming a Ranger) and....Pat Falloon. A bust 2nd overall 1991 pick by the Sharks.
-1988 Score Traded baseball. Yes. THAT 1988 Score Traded baseball. Grace, Alomar, and CHRIS SABO! (I, idiotically, did not sell these at their peak.Got greedy, I guess.)
And though I said one winner per set, I'll allow multi winners for hockey since there aren't as many hockey fans here. (Shipping will increase a little, though.) Cool?
Hey, I'm just waiting for the right answer. In fact, the answer, could perhaps, be found in "a territorial unit that was usually historically served by a local church"!

<< <i>$30,932,500 was the right amount, no? >>
No it was the higher number.
That said I am giving him the put if VTech holds on to win. 21-20 Tech on tape delay in my house. Add some fun to it.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

I will give the next two hockey sets, the '90 and '91 Score Traded, to the next winner. The winner can, ahem, be a previous winner.

He scored 748 points for the Canucks, Devils, Stars, Coyotes and Panthers over 17 seasons. I believe his rookie card was found in 1986-87 OPC.
