Vikes ship Rosenfels to Giants

Vikes traded Sage Rosenfels along with Darius Reynaud to the NY Giants. I will never quite understand why Sage was #3 behind Tavaris Jackson? Was it just Childress' pride on the line?

    Does it really matter? The Vikings are not a playoff team without Favre.

    Not a playoff team with Favre this year.

    Like Favre but he should have walked away after the great season last year.

    Should have kept Sage ............Fave won't make the whole season this year.

    Too bad for Sage. He's a really good dude but never take the next step.
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    Some people around here think Sage leaked the comments to the media about Brett not trusting Childress. Most folks around here don't think that much of Childress anyway. TJax was Childress' pick, and so he stays. Sometimes I think the Vikes are successful in spite of Childress, definately not because of him. Sage did great. Childress says he only did well in games and we didn't see how well he didn't do in practice. We'll never know
