Francoeur trade

in Sports Talk
Personally, I'm sorry to see Francoeur go. He was a good clubhouse guy and I think the hitting potential and good arm are there. I'd like to know what the others think - but no wisecracks about the Mets from the Yankees or the Phillies fans.

<< <i>whiner and mopy when not starting.. good in clubhouse?? who told you this ???? >>
Simply not true. Players and the press in Atlanta loved him and from everything I've read, his teammates in the Queens respected him as well. I guess its fair game to criticize him for demanding a trade out of NY once he lost his starting spot, but I certainly wouldn't call him a whiner for that. Its business.
He needs a good hitting coach to figure out what he was doing 4 years ago vs. what he's doing today.
