Paypal claim help

Ebay purchase that USPS appears to have actually been lost. Shipped and scanned in on July 29th, unseen since.
I started the claim and the buyer responded with the tracking. The next step info says:

If you've resolved this problem, you can cancel this claim anytime.
If you received the item but it's different than you expected, you can change your reason for this claim.
Not sure what to do as I dont want to cancel the claim, and I obviously havent recieved the item yet.
Do I have to call paypal to tell them I want the claim to continue?

Just tell PP you want a refund for the lost item.
If the seller cannot prove delivery, your refund will be granted.
