I have never been able to find it in any books or even find anyone who had another one like it?
I have had it for 35 years or longer can't even remember where I got it. .

  • From the white residue inside the lettering the medal seems to have been cleaned at some time or the other. If you were to post the token or medal on the coin forum some of the token collectors could probably identify it and help you with it.

    Good luck,

  • Maybe you could forward the images to the HOF and they would be able to help you out with some info.

The item was given out at the dedication of Cooperstown.

The medallion was given to those in attendance at the ceremony.

Huggins @ Scott had one in their May 2009 Auction. Lot 995 went for $470.

    Nice early Hall piece.
