I submitted 5 more cards to PSA and I thought I might brag aliitle Grades are two 8's, two 9's and A SIX!!(:frown. Best part is one of the 9's is card #183, Bob Kennedy from the 1968 set. This is the one and only 9 of this card and there are no 10's So after submitting 8 1968's I've gotten four 8's, three 9's and that darn 6!
Now I have a quick question. I'm putting this set together in 8 or higher. Do you think I should sell card #183 and hope to get a premium since it is the highest grade of that card. Then purchase other cards with the money? What do you think?

congrats on your gradings. If it was me I would keep the 9 unless you never plan to upgrade your set. Having one 9 in a set of PSA 8's will always keep you one point ahead of other collectors with PSA 8 sets .
which card was your 6 on and are you looking to get rid of it. I collect lower grades in the 68's and might be interested. PM me.
thanks
Matt
There is probably at least one 1968 Topps set collector who would pay a huge premium for a one of one PSA 9 card. If you were to list it on Ebay with a high reserve and/or BIN, you could probably realize a large amount of money for that card. I would personally suggest selling the card while it is still a 1/1 and while you can build your set.
Not sure of exact figures, but I imagine you are in the intial stages of building your set. Would you be willing to trade that card for five PSA 9's? How about twenty PSA 8's? Whatever the case -- I think that you could build up your set a lot more by selling that card, and replacing it with other PSA 8s and 9s. Long-term, it should be fairly easy to replace that card in PSA 8, and hopefully in a year or two, it might not be hard to find another PSA 9!
Best of luck-

I for one have some interest in the card. Will I pay a fortune for it? Probably not. I could offer a trade of a bunch of 8's for it. If the centering is decent, I think I can make it worth your while. As for selling, you could sell it on eBay, and there is one buyer who pays good money, but a lot of it has to do if someone bids against him, and he travels a lot, so sometimes he misses auctions. Most of the '68 collectors don't play the run up game against each other, so it could go from anywhere from $80 to $120 - depending on the centering.
You are welcome to e-mail me through my danmarkel Ebay account (I can reply on evenings or weekends) or send me a private message here on this board.
