Just wondering about how the new Lincoln 1 cent designs have affected the prices of Wheaties Lincolns? Have they been realized yet?

I would say in 2009 the wheat cents were on the rise and leveled off near the end of the year. Prices appear to be coming down now.

Since I collect ALL the Lincoln cents I can tell you what I paid for the complete collection in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

In 2008 I collected the Memorial reverse in business strike, Philadelphia and Denver mint mark, in satin finish mint set, Philadelphia and Denver mint mark, in proof San Francisco mint mark. A total of 5 coins costing me approximately $60.

In 2009 I collected the four reverses in business strike, Philadelphia and Denver mint mark, in satin finish mint set, Philadelphia and Denver mint mark, and in proof San Francisco mint mark. A total of 20 coins costing me approximately $75.

In 2010 I collected the Shield reverse in business strike, Philadelphia and Denver mint mark, in satin finish mint set, Philadelphia and Denver mint mark, and in proof San Francisco mint mark. A total of 5 coins costing me approximately $50.

The Satin Finish and Proof coins are in PCGS PR69DCAM holders. The business strikes are Raw. That is the total number of Lincoln cents I collected during the three years. Sorry, no rolls, no boxes, no first strikes and no early releases.

The common stuff may be softening a bit, but due to the popularity of ther series, the teens and 20's wheats will always command strong money for any sort of quality, especially the D & S's. Look at the recent post by Stewart Blay - you can't find any material right now. JMHO.

I agree with that, especially the ones in red.
