A very nice run of American Numismatic Society "Numismatic literature" Journals 1967-1991 (49 in all). Very fine condition. A wonderful reference source. $125 postpaid for the group (reduced from $175).

Group of (7) auction catalogs from the JJFord library pertaining to gold rush era scales, weights, counterfeit detecting scales, and occasional related items (coins, nuggets, etc). Joel Malter, who seems to have been primarily an ancient coin and antiquities dealer, produced a run of "scales and weights" catalogs in the late 1970's and early 1980's that Ford presumably kept for research. Catalog dates are 4/1979 (a beautiful specialized catalog co-written by William Doniger), 9/1980, 12/1980, 1/1982, 6/1982, 1/1983, 5/1984. Entire group $30 postpaid.
