Paging Storm...seller only accepts Paymate or Moneybookers?? Anyone else see any issues with auction

Hi guys,

Just bought a 54 Aaron RC and noticed after that his method for payment is Paymate or Moneybookers...will not accept Paypal. I read up on the ebay site and these two are both accepted ebay payment options and it says that there is buyer protection with them.

If I have a problem with the transaction am I covered the same as with Paypal...for instance if you had to file a SNAD claim.

Hidden transactions, low feedback seller, no paypal, a bin price less than half of what it should be, on a very easy to sell card.

They 2 different listings for Ruth are picturing the same card (same cert). Has bids on the auction and has it also listed as a seperate BIN.

EBAY Buyer Protection covers you for INR and SNAD,
no matter which allowed payment method you use.



The card and the slab are likely NG.

I lost track of the Hernandez gang - Craig's List and
EBAY - but this was their fave card.

It is almost certainly the "Hernandez Gang's" merch.

ALL of the cards/slabs appear bogus.

Somebody just bought a T205 Cobb in SGC 50 from the same seller. $800 BIN. The card in the flip looked like a grade 2 card.

He also has an SGC 40 '33 Ruth #149 he just listed for $800 BIN. Very OC card.

There is little recourse for the seller. A NPB "strike" against you is insignificant. It becomes a problem when you rack up a whole bunch of them. But there are so many warnings I would take the strike before I would take the likely fake.

I agree with the rest. This is one of the easiest cards to sell, why so cheap, and why not take paypal? Be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not pay.

If he files an NPB (unlikely), just tell EBAY the guy is a
crook selling fake cards in bogus slabs.

Send him a message telling him that an FBI agent told you hold off paying for it until they can transfer the money to your account for some kind of sting operation they're working on. Tell him you're not sure what they mean by that and ask him if sending cash in a concealed envelope might be a better option.

He must have had quite a few Paypal claims against him lately, thinks it's just a new policy for everyone.

They were in pristine slabs and had counterfeit flips.
The cert numbers all matched on the PSA site.
