Damon to the Sox?

Is this a done deal? My local paper is stating the Sox picked him up.
Fox Sports says still undecided. Anyone have anything concrete?
Don't know if I want him, trashed the Sox during an interview with Suzie.
Maybe he could be the spark we need?

I hope he goes.... never really wanted him anyway. He's been outstandingly mediocre for us this season, like i thought he would be.... we need a LHP. I think y'all wanna give us Lester for him!!!

I think the Sox just took advantage of their position to claim Damon so that neither the Rays nor Yankees could claim him.

The Red Sox did claim him, but Damon still has approval rights.

Let us not forget Damon's statement in 2005 that he'd never play for the Yankees. Well, guess what...then in Tigerland he talks likes he's found nirvana. This clown is about what goes into his bank account, no more, no less. He's old news and his candle is quickly running out of wax. I say move him to another team, any team but the Red Sox. Nothing Damon could do in the next few weeks could mean anything to the standings, the Red Sox season is essentially over.

Oh gee, his mouthpiece is Borass...nuff said.
