Pujols and the Triple Crown

I was curious to see what people thought about this possibly happening this year.
Does the MVP go to Votto or Pujols this year for the National League? It would seem to me that whichever team won the division would have their guy win the MVP unless one guy wins the Triple Crown.
Is it remotely possible that Pujols could not win the MVP by having a Triple Crown if the Reds win the Central and Votto is right behind Pujols is the major three categories? I think the Triple Crown would win out since it is so hard to attain.
The top American Leaguers seem to be having more impressive seasons....but a Triple Crown is a Triple Crown.......

Unless of course the reasons you give are 'in the bag' they would not matter.

Also, in terms of the non-statistical argument, I do think that Votto means more to his team than Pujols - thus the more "valuable" tag although it never gets voted that way. The Reds w/o Votto are a sub .500 team. The Cards w/o Pujols are over .500 no question. The St. Louis pitching is excellent. The Cincinnati pitching is put together with duct tape and bailing wire.
I've been following this race on the podcast that I do since May. Really interested to see this last 6 weeks of the season. The Triple Crown, MVP and Division are all up for grabs. What more could you ask for?
