    in my opinion the HOF is a big joke..theres so many guys in there that were GOOD ballplayers but made it in just because of longevity and not because they were GREAT ballplayers ie. don sutton- phil neikro just to name a couple off the top of my head..these guys were never dominant players in the league, they just compiled #'s over a period of time

    I say no. He was once a dominant player in the late 80's and early 90's, but he has been non-existant forever. I don't think 5 or 6 good years in the majors is enough to get you into the hall. I do agree with Kobecollecotr, that there are definitely people there who don't belong, but they had long careers, and as a result, put up numbers. Jose, on the other hand, hasn't done jack in about 8 years. Besides, any outfielder who takes a fly ball off his head, and lands over the fence, definitely doesn't need to be there..lmao
