His 2001 Seattle Mariners went 116-46, a major league record. This was after superstars A-Rod, Griffey, and Randy Johnson had departed. This to me was his best accomplishment. Unfortunately for him his 2001 Mariners lost to the Yankees in the ALCS.

    Had the Cubs made to the World Series, I would think the answer would be very clear
