Stupid move on my part . . .

In my daily searches of 1948 Leafs, I found a newly listed auction for a PSA 7 Bob Hendren listed with a very reasonable BIN of $179.99 with the Best Offer option. I looked at the scan and while it wasn't the best NM card I've ever seen, I've seen far worse. So, I enter a BO of $165.00 and then notice that there are two other offers pending, so I return to the auction to execute the BIN and not take a chance... Well, the seller accepted another $165.00 offer before I could execute the BIN and, alas, it wasn't my offer that was sent a minute earlier.
I learned a lesson . . . Don't worry about a few dollars when the price is right to begin with. Had I just executed the BIN instead of the BO, I'd own the card and have a nice upgrade for my set...

You will get another shot.

I learned my lesson then.
I also learned that cards have a way of coming back again, later.---- Sonny
PS -- Hope you do well for the final weeks in the can-o-corn league. I hope I do better though.

We've all been there. I used to have it happen alot then I got much more aggressive with my buying. If it's really a good deal and it's a strong quality card I buy it.
