overuse of "key date" in coin listings

Seems to be a common thing on ebay with rookie sellers. Guess they figure it'll bing more money, but only from rookie buyers.

This gold eagle is the highest mintage of the tenth ounce series; over 2,750 minted in preparation of Y2K demand. More than twice the mintage of the second highest minted $5 gold eagle (1998):

I agree it is over used. But part of the blame on eBay might be that their tips on listing tell the new sellers to make the title as long as possible because they will get more bids that way.

I recently saw a proof 1942 Walker listed as a key date. It's the most common proof Walker.
