Were there any "hits" from the 2nd 75 mini box from National?

I know the centering was all over the place on the 2nd box we sold out for National. Did anyone pull a Brett, Yount, Ryan or Aaron? Anything?

I still have 2 packs left that I was going to get slabbed but might bust them if there wasn't a hit in the box yet.

DISCLAIMER: I do not think the packs were suspect. I have looked at the seal on my packs numerous times and they look fine.

I know I got some from the first box, and I think I bought 2 from the second box, but I can't remember if I opened them or not. I guess I need to look on my National table before I put everything away.

I had no hits but was missing gum in one pack. Pack looked good but no gum did raise a couple of flags

Gang !! What a great time at the National this year. I met alot of great people from these boards and really enjoyed the PSA luncheon. I met the 2 people with the 2 cards on my most wanted. Donald Spence with the 1972 Blyleven Topps PSA 10 and Dmitri Young with the 1971 Blyleven Topps PSA 10. I offered Dmitri 5 figures but to no avail !!

Anyway I bought a 75 mini box and busted it last week. Crazy ?? yes but I had wanted to do this for a few years ! The bad news first. No Ryan, Brett, Yount, Rice or Blyleven. Most packs started with about 6 cards OC then either 1-3 that were much better. The highlights of the box were Phil Neikro, Keith Hernandez, and thats it for the stars. I did sleeve quite a few commons and will check the pop report before submitting them all. Will I buy another box of these ?? No...My next big purchase with Steve will be a OPC box from the 70's. When that happens I will let you know !!

Yep !! I was not in the greatest mood after that but I knew it was a gamble. The gum also damaged at 2 cards per pack. Of course both the Aarons were in that group. This box was part of the group that BBCE advertised on friday at the show.
