US Mint Unc. sets now on backorder

According to an outstanding order I have: Backordered- expected to ship on 9/1/10. Haven't seen this before and find it strange since sales are supposed to be down this year. Maybe they didn't make many and need to crank back up the presses???

The sets might be on backorder but you can still order them online...they are still for sale on the Mint's site...

I wouldn't "read" too much in a US Mint Backordered Status since that status can change on a daily basis. Additionally, check your calendar since Sept 1st just isn't that far away.
My initial order of 10 on July 15th went to backordered until 7/29 almost immediately. It changed a couple days later.
