Who needs heritage when you can buy raw !

Unfortunately, buying raw on ebay is a crapshoot. I did throw in quite a reasonable bid on what seemed to be an original 1705 Olmutz Taler.
It arrived today and is indeed the original, uncleaned crown. I will send this in to be graded hoping for an AU grade.
There is hope !

Nice piece. There certainly is hope on ebay. I've found some pretty nice pieces there just this past month.

I've had some luck with buying raw from a couple of British dealers, but not on ebay as of yet.
