THERE WILL BE NO DOUBLE DIP...

I think the only he aspect he misses is due to fact that he is European and they, being effectively disarmed (yes, even the Swiss), cannot fathom the potential for violent civil unrest that exists here.

    And in many real world ways it is the cause of the problem. Johnny doesn't
    need to learn a single thing in school any longer he just needs to dribble
    a ball, or have a well connected uncle, or collect welfare.

    We've lost two generations and this problem will fester until either there's a
    shakeout as the author envisions or civil war. Government is in bed with Wall
    Street as surely as the Taliban is in bed with al Queda.

    It's too late to stop it but it's not too late for a soft landing. People have to
    wake up and accept responsibility and demand quality.
