On Today's Episode of "A Fool & His Money..."

Yikes.

"NSA" Game Used Patch Cards

Looks like they've sold about 500 of these at $10+ per over the last month.

Wow.

Looks like NSA decided to do away with the "Authentic Replica" part of their COA.

I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

So did these people actually pickup some legit jerseys or are these completely bogus? They are ugly as hell.

They are from legit jerseys, just not NFL jerseys. More like Walmart jerseys. He use to pretty say thats what they were and does not claim them to be NFL game used or the like.

Even now is has just labeled them "Authentic NSA Cut." It is somewhat deceptive, but I imagine most people that buy them know what they are getting and don't care.

There are other sellers of obvious fake cards...meaning not licensed/homemade things...that do alright as well. One guy puts uncirculated pennies on his.
