Quesiton about Engelhard Gold Bar Packaging...

I bought a 1oz Engelhard bar from a forum member here. (For the record, there is NO problem with the transaction or packaging on his part.)

Since I recieved it, the packaging around one side has split open, and the bar can be taken out now. Is this a big deal or something that I shouldnt really be worried about? I know that silver bars are sold out of their packaging all the time... I just want to make sure that Its not something I need to address.

Can/Should I take it out and get an airtight gold bar holder or something? (If they even make such a thing)

    Not a problem but I usually try to protect my gold even if its just bullion

    Yeah... I can protect it... I was more worried about people thining it might be faked or something.
