photobucket question

I havent used photobucket in about a year, so I think I've forgotten how.

I've scanned what I wanted to scan, the picture is saved in my PC, but I can't find the pic when I try to load it on to my Photobucket page.

what am I doing wrong??

  • Where do you have it saved on PC? Is that where you are looking for it?

I tried saving it in My Pictures, and My Documents. It's saved in both places, but I can't find it through Photobucket.

You might want to check the image type you scanned it in as. Photobucket is probably looking for some preset photo types (jpg, gif, etc...) You might have scanned it as an unsupported image type. When you go to upload your photo again, in the file open box, change the file type to "all files" and see if your pictures show up. They should, but photobucket will probably tell you it's an unsupported file I'm guessing.
Interested in any Favre stuff you have to offer. image
  • When I am uploading to Photobucket (Windows 7 if that makes any difference, IDK) it brings up a smaller window that I click "libraries" and the it brings up a couple choice which I pick the "pictures" icon and there it is. I do not use it that often and have not had any problems yet.

    that was it!!

I changed the file from .tif to .gif (whatever the F all that means) and now it works!
