Help identifying a Koufax postcard.

Picked this up recently. Anyone know year of issue or any other particulars??
Thanks-

  • My guess would be 1967 since the last date on card is 1966. Guy on eBay has 7 of them available for $10 each.

it's also possible that it came from a commemerative set which was made in the 70's or early 80's....i've tried to do some research on these various Dodgers postcards and makers, of which there are many, but info is tough to find on some of them, however, the name Kolor View and catalog number give me a suspicion this card was made long after Sandy retired.....apologies if i'm wrong about this. image

Kolar View was the company that printed those post cards and they were usually distributed by other companies. Based on the year of Sandy's stats on the back of the card it should have been a 1967, but that might not be correct as the cards I have found in the past were printed by Plastichrome. Maybe a google search could get you some more answers.

Well, since his last playing year was '66 I guess the possiblilty of this being printed later is likely.

Photo is from the 1965 World Series (Game 5 in LA, inning 5,6,or7)

The stats are Koufax's complete career stats.

Id guess it was from 1970s +.

I think fkw is right. I remember seeing these in the early '80s at card shows in the L.A. area.
