What are some varieties found in Mint sets fro 1968-99?

I can't find my cherry pickers guide. What are some of the good varieties found in mint sets say from 68-99? I know the 71-D FS-101 Ken half is one, what about others?

Thanks -

Off the top of my head:

    1969-D/D RPM dime
    1970-D DDR dime
    1970-S RPM#1 cent
    1974-D DDO half
    1981-D DDR nickel

I know I'm forgetting some others, I'll edit the post as they come to me.

...are the wide AM's in the CPG? those might qualify.

Did the 79P wide rim (near date) Suzie B. show up in any mint sets?

96,98-00 WAM 92 & 92D CAM cents ( are regular issue not WAM ) but 98-00S CAM cents would qualify.

    No.

Except it is found at about 1: 25 in the special 3-pc souvenir set.

I like the '68 DDO dime, '69- D/D dime, '70-S sm dt cent, '74-D DDO half, '80-P type "d" reverse quarter, and '88-P RR half.

There are a lot of good ones to watch for but they tend to be very scarce. These can all be found in 160 sets or fewer yet are important varieties.

And, I have only found them in the sets with the yellow envelopes.

  • 1970 D quarters in mint sets have been found in 5 different reverse varieties.
By far most are the type M variety.
A few are the regular type C circulation strike for that year.
Then there are 3 different class III doubled dies known in mint sets.
