New Autograph blog

Well after a long time of wanting to start one I guess I finally did. I'm going to try and update it everyday or every other, depending on how time permits. I'm not much of a writer so just remember that when viewing lol. The purpose of the blog will be to give autograph collectors, mainly baseball, a place to view autograph news, signature studies, and other autograph information. I feel the knowledge I have with autographs can help out other collectors. The first signature study I am going to do will be on the 500 HR Club. It should be up in a couple of days, hopefully. I have never tried to actually maintain a "blog" and don't know how much work is involved so this is a learning experience as well. If you have any suggestions or input, you can contact me by PM or by email. csmtampa@gmail.com

POST REGULARLY!
I've seen so many blog ideas start then the blogger realizes it is taking up too much time for no return and they quit.
Best of luck on the venture.
<< <i>Nice website I can't wait to start reading it regularly! I agree with Moose, the key for success is to keep the readers interested with consistent updates. >>
I'm going to try to daily, even if it's just a simple update. Signature studies will take a little more time, but regular updates comparing autographs should be up every other day or so.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
For this kind of subject you'll be better off maybe with a weekly "schedule" but also you can add some more frequent posts as inspiration strikes. Very important not to burn out too soon. If the content is good, we readers will know where to look.
Cheers,

Thank you.
If you ever want to do a Steve Young auto study, I can supply ~30-40 scans, plus a few scans of not real certified autos, and a few comments.
Thought about doing that on here....as PSA DNA doesn't seem to have good examples (?). Such as rejecting the charity signed autos, which every one I have seen looks good, and I accidently picked up a PSA DNA Young auto that is not real....it was cheap and I didn't look....
GIA is the worst, Young wise, and I have seen maybe a dozen certified bad Young autos with their certification.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
