Inspired by Mike 1981 Donruss Golf TTM project

Mike's recent success in collecting the signatures of all of the 1981 Donruss Golfers has inspired me to try the same project. I was able to get a decent start by getting a partial set of 36/66. So I have just 30 remaining. Jim Simons is dead so I'll need to try to find him outside of TTM. If you have one let me know!! I have sent out TTMs to the remaining 29 as of this morning. I know some are bound to be failures so we'll see what I get back! Here are my current cards (scan heavy) and the list of the ones I still need.

Nice start so far. Looks like yours are pretty well centered for the most part. I should have been more careful in selecting nicely centered cards for mine. Good luck, it's a fun project!

Today marks the 1 month mark since I sent out these TTMs. Made some decent progress so far. Just got these two.

These have started to really slow down in their return. I believe today is about the 6 week mark since I sent them out. Still very good progress.

Got a return today. It's been roughly 9 weeks since I sent out TTMs to all the players that I needed. I've gotten quite a few back. Not sure if I'll get much, if any more back at this point. Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised to get this one in the mail today. Jim Colbert.
