What a year. Glad we didn't trade prospects away.

    TOAST, totally TOAST

Never really got in gear this year, no win streaks to build a cushion. Losing to mediocre teams, dismal bullpen including Papelbon. Musical chairs in the outfield added to the downfall and the seemingly never-ending DL list.

Oh well, it is what it is, maybe 2011 will be brighter.

This sucks. Guess we will see more of Ortiz playing 1B, splitting time with the all of a sudden valuable Mike Lowell.

neither can be more of a butcher at first than Martinez, can they?
  • What a jerk! He should tough it out like he told Ellsbury.

Or how about HAHA!! What comes around goes around.

Don't worry. It won't be too long before Red Sox fans turn on him as well and refer to him as "Puke-ilous". It's only a matter of time. >>

won't be the same, sorry to disappoint. Once the surgery is done, you will see Youkilis with the team and in the dugout for games, home and road.

This season was definitely one to forget.

I can remember back in the spring how amped up I was because of how great the team looked on paper.

    What a crushing blow...

The East is a beast!! Sox would be in 1st in the Central and within a half game in ANY other division AL or NL..... Course, i don't need to tell YOU that. Can't help injuries, but yr rookies have been incredible!
