    I'll say it's a 6.5, but it looks nicer.
  • Is that an indentation under the T.C.G. on the backside?

    Ding Ding - winner!

It is a 6 because of that thumbnail indent (I guess). It goes through to the front.

Thinking of buying an 8, but juxtaposed as this is a really nice card otherwise. Would you upgrade it?

Edit: My set is NM+ with mostly 7's & 8's.

  • It looks like a PSA 7 to me, but would not be surprised at a 6.5.

Other than the indentation that carries through and is slightly visible beneath Maris's name, the front presents very well. If eye appeal is what you are looking for the card should do just fine (minus the number on the red flip). But, if your main goal is set consistency go for it. The card is a nice enough 6 that it should cover 80% or more of the price for a 7. Nice card BTW.

I would upgrade.. that bottom corner on the left looks creased. That + the thumbnail could make that a 5 on most days

PSA 5 based on the dent in the back and the lower left corner. If the grader was generous - 6.
