    << <i>awesome, Barry! how'd you do it? >>

Kaline is an SGC 60 crackout....TTM to Mr Kaline...it was back in 6 days!

Killebrew is a PSA 5 crackout...in person in cooperstown a couple weeks ago. And let me just say, this was my 3rd time meeting Mr Killebrew and he is the nicest guy I think I have ever met. He even remembered me from before and talked with me for a couple of minutes along with Juan Marichal and Rollie Fingers getting in the conversation. It was that real rainy day in Cooperstown and not many in line, plus I waited until the line was done. As a side note, I also got my Guidry rc, kiner rc, gaylord perry on a mulitsigned, 5 sigs from Jenkins on multiplayer projects I have going, and a Rickey Henderson RC(for JSweiton).

For the 69 Leaders, I got both Gibson and Marichal from SCN private signings and Jenkins in Cooperstown.

that type of marker looks excellent on those cards...

I try to always use ultra fine blue markers...too many guys with a heavy hand with the regular fine points. Although, there are some guys who are very light handed like Jeff Kent, Jim Thome, and Rick Burleson

    Congratulations Barry.

I really like the Kaline and Killebrew cards!!!! Two really nice sigs also - they're favorites of mine.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

I love the 68 card that looks great... I may have to start that one - Fergie is easy to get and Gibson has a private signing coming up on SCN.

    Thanks everyone

Getting cards signed, especially RCs and multiplayer cards has been a real revival in this hobby for me. Of course I still like to break a few packs modern and vintage every now and then image

I agree 100% - Graded PSA cards got be back into the hobby a few years ago... the registry drug had me for a while - but that became old hunting for the 1 card in a higher grade than someone else. Now I'm enjoying collectiong auto'ed rookie cards and etopps cards image

What address did you use for Kaline? Did you include any donation?
  • yankeeno7yankeeno7 Posts: 9,251 ✭✭✭
Yeah, 10.00 per card or 8x10 for Kaline. There is mixed success for OMLB for 20.00.

    Address I used is
3613 York Court Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301
