Has Anyone ever lead their team in .......

ALL OFFENSIVE CATEGORIES?
Hits, doubles, HR's , Runs, RBI, AVG, OBA, SLG, AND SB's? and GAME WINNING RBI's?
just curious if anyone knows of a player who EVER did this......
PS....anyone know who leads MLB this year in Game winning RBI's?

<< <i>I don't believe GWRBI is an official stat anymore. Anyone who leads his team in all these categoties would obviously be a pretty good player on an average team or a mediocre player on a bad team. Anyway to lead in all categories is not as much a positive for the player but rather a negative about the team. >>
what if the team is in first place?
and GW rbi is not official but it is still a kept stat
Let me check my crime computer and get the answer.
Since you say all offensive categories, I'll point out you ignored triples. That Holliday is currently beating Pujols by 4 Doubles. And also that Holliday and Pujols have 33% more at bats than any other player on the cardinals, which is why it's an indictment on the rest of the team.

Your teams not in first place.
Just sayin...

Stan Musial did that in 1948.
Just askin'.
Looking for Charlie (Charley) Maxwell cards.

I don't follow stats like some do. Are you saying Joey Votto leads his team in all those categories?

I can answer that. He doesn't. He's 6th on his team in doubles.
He led the Cardinals in homeruns (39) and steals (7 of the team's 24 total).
Get this week's Sports Illustrated for a great article about Stan

"Where Are They Now" is probably my favorite issue of the year. I love this week's Musial cover.

He finished the season with 39 homeruns. Ralph Kiner and Johnny Mize each hit 40 to lead the NL.
It's said Musial lost a homerun at Ebbets Field that year due to a rainout. If not for that, he would've won the Triple Crown!

Never knew that, thanks for sharing that tit bid Steve.

An even more interesting question , that requires brain matter and not devotion is --- " What is the lowest RBI total to ever lead a team ?".

Gotta be in a strike-shortened season, maybe the lowest team-leading total in 94?

In 1908 Red Murray led his team in every category including doubles and triples. He didn't lead in Walks (by 1) or HBP's (by 2) , so I don't know if that means he's the bestest ever or not .
Oh yea , He played for the Cardinals.

This post has nothing to do with Albert Pujols.
It actually contains a secret message.
If you properly decode the capital letters it says "I killed Paul."

In 1910 George Stone of the St.Louis Browns drove in the grand total of 40 runs to lead the team.

Steve , I think , if I understand your question , that I personally believe ( Ms. South Carolina) that 1910 falls after 1901.-- Sonny
I did not see your answer, perhaps you included it with the edit?
In any event at the time I posted I had not seen the answer.

He finished 2nd in HR (Baker had 11 to Cobb's 8) and OBP (Shoeless Joe at .468 to Cobb's .467).
Cobb won the Triple Crown in 1909 but didn't lead his team in doubles or triples.
