1958 BCT ERROR OR ??

I have a 1958 1/2 cent of the British Caribbean Territories - KM-1. It is supposed to be struck in bronze. Mine is definitely copper/nickel. Is anyone aware of this error or variety ? Thanks.

    Off-metal strikes do happen. But then again, coins sometimes get plated or whatever.

    It would be cool if you found an off-metal strike.
