I was just on the phone with Mike and learned that he is now on his own.
He doesn't have a website yet, but is working on it. If anyone wants his email address, feel free to PM me. I wish Mike the best of success in his new venture.

I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

First class service always
I wish him only the best.
Below is a coin I got from him a few years ago...one that IGWT saw in Mike's case and told me about:
Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Thanks again Mike
John
some of my favorite coins came from them. They both have my sincerest wishes
for success in the business. I wish them well !
Here are some examples:
R.I.P. Bear
Honest, straight forward and really knows his stuff...not to mention a pretty darn good photographer.
I think he will put customer service back in the coin business.
GOOD LUCK MIKE!!!

Add him to a long line of great dealers who once worked under Larry.

I have a separate folder on Photobucket just for Mike's images.
Best of luck to him in his new endeavors.

I wonder who will be taking pictures for Whitlow...whoever it is, I don't see how they can be half as good as Mike!
Congrats Mike!

I have viewed that Trade Dollar in person. The fields are lighter than seen in the images, and the color and overall appearance are much more impressive than the images show. It is easily one of the best looking Proof Trade dollars of any grade that I have ever seen. It is absolutely breathtaking.
Although I have only met Mike a half dozen times over the years,
he remembers me each time I see him and occasionally emails me
telling me that I have first crack at a mid range Barber for my sets
because my set is deserving of this particular coin. He's never been
wrong and each coin I have purchased from him is stunning beyond
belief.
Best wishes, Mike. Hope to see you in Boston [ stop by table 1521 to say hello
and to look at some nice Barbers.]
