Yes, it still stings... I wish I had tickets to that game last night! I'm sure the bleacher security will triple for tonight's game.

Reminds me of when TO was on the Eagles and game to Cleveland....a number of "eagle" fans with his number were escorted out of the Dog Pound that day....there were all kinds of fights and some eagle and browns fans were messed up.....I think TO had a lot to do with it since he blasted a sign hanging on the sidelines with the football.....I think that was the worst crowd I ever saw and I've been to many Steeler/Raven/Bengals visits...seems like a large amount of fans were thrown out.

Cleveland has it tough already without this idiot taunting them.

I've gone to several Yankees games in Cleveland, and sat in the bleachers for every one of them. Indians/Yankees games are bad enough with all of the d-bags wearing Jeter shirts getting ejected, but this had to be the best of them all.

the crooken/backwards hat, the perfectly ripped up jeans, some kind of random cheap arm band thing, the super tight long sleeve T-shirt in July......

all adds up to superdouche supreme.

Frankly I'm surprised his jersey didn't somehow have a popped collar...

    I agree.

However, why is it that this guy gets ejected from the game if he's not actually doing anything wrong? Because 300 people around him are breaking the rules and throwing stuff? Shouldn't they be the ones ejected?

They ejected him for HIS safety... you really think they want a riot on their hands because of one douchebag? They were really close to losing control of the crowd, and it's easier to eject one person than an entire bleacher section.

Watch his interview by a local Cleveland TV station... Linky-poo. This guy is wearing the same under armor shirt, with a similar t-shirt and opposite color Heat jersey. Different hat, wearing it all jacked up. Tell me this guy isn't a douche extraordinaire.

He may be a douche, but seeing a group of supposed-adults act in such a way rubs me worse than a guy wearing a Lebron-Miami jersey to a Cleveland Indians game.

Catcalls and banter are one thing, but when you make threats and throw objects at someone for their clothing choices, you're lowering yourself to the same levels as gang members, KKK members, etc. It's just not a good thing for baseball or America, in general...

Lordy, I hope somebody agrees with me.
Nolan Ryan & Edgar Martinez are my favorite players...

When I was 12 years old I remember going to an Indians game at old Municipal Stadium when they were playing the Orioles and I was cheering for Cal Ripken. Some dude threw a half-eaten hot dog at me (with catchup and mustard on it). I was 12! I wasn't wearing any Orioles clothes or acting like an obnoxious goof, I was just cheering for Ripken.

Cleveland fans can be ruthless, but I agree it doesn't make it right. This whole Lebron thing is still a very fresh wound, and wearing a Lebron Heat jersey into the Lion's den is just asking for trouble. It really could be considered inciting a riot.

I will concur with what you say to a degree, but there has to be a common sense factor in all of this. If you know there is a fire in the middle of downtown are you going to drive your family downtown into the inferno???? This could have happened in any city, not just Cleveland. Didn't Philly fans pelt Santa Claus with snowballs??? I wouldn't wear a Browns jersey to Heinz Field, common sense would rule my thinking, unless of course stirring up discontent is what my gameplan is. The Lebron thing is just too fresh in everyone's memory and I am sure the guy wasn't just sitting there saying nothing....the only one's that know are the one's who were there. I was at a Browns game several years ago when a fan stood up to cheer....problem is he never sat down....needless to say after a number of fans told him to sit and he decided to become the game's lead knucklehead the fans got more forceful in getting him to sit...he eventually was led away. Now who started that altercation??? Was it the group of supposed adults who just wanted the guy to sit down so they could enjoy the game???? Again, we were not there so I would not side with either party.....
