    collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.

    Very sad indeed.

    Probably one of the few times you'll read about a former ballplayer driving a taxi after they retire....I remember in 'The Boys of Summer' how players worked in the off-season and how sometimes they found bags of groceries on their doorstep that came from their neighbors

  • Would have been pretty cool to get him as a cab driver (though I guess since he never talked about baseball you would have had to read his taxi license and recognize his name).
