Need information help. 93-94 Skybox USA Tipoff Gold Basketball

I have a submission on ship-hold right now. In the submission is the 1993-94 Skybox USA Tip-Off gold basketbal set. As I remember, the gold set was issued only as a set as a dealer incentive. PSA has labeled these as the regular set. They said they believe I have sent them the regular set. I see both variations on ebay and sent them a scan from ebay to show them the gold version is not the regular version. They said they need to see the set documented somewhere since it is not in their catalog. Can someone help me here? I can not find anything on the internet as documentation. Does anyone have anything or can find anything that PSA would consider documentaion. Thanks for any help.

Mike

My recollection is that they are easily distinguishable. The gold version has a gold foil finish embossed on the card, while the regular does not.
Again, this is just what I recall, but I am fairly certain of it.
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!
Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !

Yes that is exactly the difference and I sent them pictures showing the difference but they said if I can not find documentation that they will not recognize the difference even though they have pictures showing the difference. I sent them pictures from ebay auctions but they told me that they need copies of the back of the card also.

I do not have a regular version from this set. If anyone has a regular card from this set could you please send me a scan of the front and back at mbothner@aol.com so I can forward it to PSA. They have my gold set so hopefully I do not have to send them a scan from that set.

    Thanks,
    Mike
