For sale here directly is a huge partial set of 626 different 1972 Topps baseball cards numbered between 1 and 656. That's just about 80% of the complete 787 card set. If you ever wanted to get a big jump on a 1972 set, without laying out too much money, this may be a good opportunity for you. Overall this partial set averages out pretty evenly with about 25% EX, about 30% EX-MT, and about 35% NM condition (with about 5% above NM and about 5% below EX).
Some of the Stars and Hall of Famers included are: Billy Martin, Carl Yastrzemski in action, Tony Perez, Frank Robinson, Bob Gibson, Joe Morgan, Dave Kingman RC, Orlando Cepeda, Roberto Clemente world series, Rollie Fingers, Willie McCovey, Gaylord Perry, Catfish Hunter, Fergie Jenkins, Billy Williams, Baylor/Oates, Joe Torre, Don Sutton, Juan Marichal, and Phil Niekro. Also included in the 624 cards are 126 semi-high numbered cards from 526 to 656.
Here is a list of all the numbers NOT included between 1 and 656: 37, 49, 50, 79, 163, 200, 270, 299, 300, 309, 310, 420, 433, 434, 435, 436, 441, 442, 445, 446, 447, 448, 497, 510, 513, 550, 559, 560, 595, and 600.
