Vintage versus Modern

Easy one here, vintage has hit its high water mark and only a FOOL would hold on to it now. Modern is hot and only getting hotter.
Strastburg has a 6 figure card and its climbing in value, three years it will be a 7 figure card.
You chumps who have been blowing money on psa8 from 1971 feel silly now don't cha?
Time to jump on the Joey Boat and make some green, instead of losing it like fools.
Modern 10's will go higher and higher.
Vintage 7's are getting cheaper and cheaper! Who really wants a card of some dude who is no longer playing?
Wake up America!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Especially if you have any cards that I need for my sets.

But, you collect Dale Murphy.
(My all time favorite player by the way)

For investments, that's what things like stocks and bonds are for.

what kind of so called "vintage" are you referring too? Topps cards?
what the hecks is a "Vintage 7" or "Modern 10", and what type of product did these "cards" come in. Last time I looked I didnt collection things called "Vintage 7"
Vintage baseball cards are from 1869-1941
PostWar is Modern
and your all washed up on your prediction....
Modern has ALWAYS gone down over the years especially after a player retires. At least from what Ive seen daily in the last 30+ years.
Every single Strasburg card will be worth less in 10 years than today. Guarantee it! ie Tiger Woods, Jordan, Ryan, Montana, etc.
1/1 are not naturally rare, they are "limited editions". There is a big difference. For something to gain true value over the years in needs supply and demand in its favor and need to become naturally rare over time, not intentionally released as a limited edition 1/1 like some collector plate or beanie baby.
Thanks for the laugh, and its not even April 1st,

I'm assuming my irony radar detector should go off here?
