    Ryno is a Cub and MLB legend, but just because he was a great player does not mean he will be a great manager in the majors. I am sure he will get his dream job someday, but feel that he needs time on the bench or as a 1B or 3B coach before getting a manager job...especially in a town like Chicago.

    My choice would be Bob Brenly.

    And this is not a next year thing for Cubs fans....like it or not, some of the current contracts need to expire and those are a few years away (i.e. Soriano, Kosuke (could not use his last name on this board...haha), etc.)
