  • Ralph was a great guy. I met him a few years back at a signing in Detroit. I've got 3-4 bats signed by him.

    He was a very interesting person to listen to.

    Houk was of course the manager of that great Yankees team of 1961 - still my favorite team of all time as I was a young boy living in Connecticut at the time, and that was one wonderful, remarkable season with Roger and all.
