Absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Your family and children are more important.
A loved one living with a physical ailment, a sick friend who needs your help, etc. etc.
Sports is just a temporary escape from reality, and a very good one at that. If you are lucky enough to
catch a great game, and your team is in it, then enjoy the ride.
But to answer your question, no sporting event is ever that important. No one is greater then the other.
The Miracle on Ice was beautiful, and it was better then any other ice hockey event, but both are forgotten, and the real
world rules the day.
I meant to limit the discussion to sporting events...
