Question about 1ofxxx price differences...

Hey guys,

In your dealings, have you found the first printed (or signed) edition of a collection is worth more than the rest of the set? I have two photos, one is numbered 38/100 and the other is 1/100. I would assume the 1/100 would fetch more, but do you have an idea of how much? 5%? 10%? Any insight on this one?

I think it depends on exactly what type of collection.


In many cases 1 of is worth more, other times it is not.

Yes, I have found that some times 1/100 or 1,000 may be worth more along with jersey numbers or other numbers of special signific to the player being collected. But there have been also times when they fetch the same price or less.

As Steve said it probably depends on the player or type of collection...Donato

I'm no expert by any means but IMO the 1/1 would fetch more than the other one.

How much more? That I don't know. Nice item, thanks for sharing.
