Any 1990 Donruss Variations?

I just came across a huge box full of 1990 Donruss, ugh. I want to know if there are any variations worth looking for or should I just toss the whole lot of them.

A few things come to mind:
    1) Juan Gonzalez reverse negative where pic shows him batting as if he was left handed
    2) Tom Glavine card that actually shows picture of John Smoltz (these are not rare, but people still buy them)
    3) There are lots of variations / errors involving black lines cutting either above or below the names on the top of the card. No idea if these are even recognized or viewed more as printing errors now.

    Nolan Ryan has a bunch.

If you do a search here, a member Jacksoncoupage has a web site listing them all.

    Good for you.

It is actually a Smoltz card with Glavine pictured on it, the MVP card.

I'd suggest just toss the whole lot of them.

The Aqueous Test and Blue/White tests are both fairly valuable -- but there is fairly little in that set that is even worth $10-$15 in PSA 10 shape.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Check for "Donruss Learning Series". Its highly unlikely that there are any but you never know. Has a small icon in the lower corner that says "Donruss Learning Series".

The cards arent highly valuable or ultra rare, but singles in mint condition can be a little difficult. I have a PSA 10 Ryan which isnt too bad and have sold singles from this set for $1-$3 to player collectors

Show me a PSA 10 of the Smoltz (Glavine photo) ERR, the Harold Baines All-Star ERR, or either Nolan Ryan ERRs and I'll bet they get much, much more than $15. 1990 Donruss is so condition-sensitive (factory set cards excluded) that finding any of those pack-only errors in PSA 10 condition is almost impossible.

    EDIT (to answer OP's question):

-Most, possibly all, cards can be found with INC or INC. on back
-Several well-known errors exist such as the Nolan Ryans, John Smoltz MVP, Juan Gonzalez Reversed Negative and Harold Baines All-Star varieties.
-All-Star subset cards can be found with "Recent Major League..." or "All-Star Game..." on back for stat headings.
-Several unlisted (in the big guides) variations exist that Donovan (BillRipkenCollector) has compiled. Many of these were discovered after interest in this set waned.
-Many variations between the wax issued and factory set issued cards exist. Usually involving splatter pattern or the player's name on front.
-Grand Slammers can be found with at least 5 different splatter patterns, probably many more than that. Also, they come with or without black lines in the back borders.
-Aqueous and Blue/White Test exist in very small numbers. Their origin can be traced to a handful of unmarked boxes purchased from a Donruss employee after the bankruptcy. A search on this forum will give you much info on them. Do not expect to find them in regular packs or boxes, they are promos/tests/prototype issues not intended for pack-out.

That list represents about 30% of the variations in the set. Since that site has just the variations listed in/recognized-by price guides, Donovan's list is much more thorough.

***** All errors/variations occurring on All-Star cards are assumed to be available in
***** both All-Star Performance and Recent ML Performance backs. This may not be
    ***** the case though.

All-Star Cards ----- Harold Baines, Julio Franco, Wade Boggs, Bo Jackson, and Kirby Puckett are all
missing the "TM" trademark symbol next to the American League emblem on
the front of their cards. No examples with the "TM" present are known.

Diamond Kings ----- Some DKs have been reportedly found with No Period after INC on back.
These should be considered difficult, if not rare, and not all DKs are known to
exist with No Period INC. A stark contrast to the availability of Period/No Period
        INC base cards.

Hey ReggieCleveland, can you tell me what are the most difficult variations you've found to pull from packs? Thanks for the in depth list above - I've since started down the red path of variation digging.
