my new favorite sets topps heritage

i just recently bought a 2001, 2005, and 2010 topps heritage master sets in last month. i have been putting the sets in sheets and binders. i think i have now found my favorite cards to collect since my seventies sets. i think right now 2005 is my favorite set. i really like the card backs. i do not know if this has been dicussed but for those of you guys that collect heritage sets what is your favorite set. i always wondered why everyone really like these sets now i know why. in the next few months i need to buy the last seven sets of the decade.

Right now my favorite modern set is 2006 Topps Heritage. I always liked the 1957 design but could never afford the cards.

Of course here is my favorite card from the set image

2005 (1956) is my favorite, but as far as subsets go I really like the ad panels that were issued starting in '08.
In regards to design, '61-'64 are my least favorite, so it's going to get bad next year (IMO '62 is the fugliest year for Topps) and it's going to be rough going until 2014 when the '65 design is represented.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

By far the best set of the 1960s, in my opinion. If I ever catch Heritage fever, it would be when they hit the '65 set.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I have yet to catch the fever for the sets, but have heard great things about them. I too love the '56 & '57 designs.

I love the sets and they are a great homage to the past but I wish they would give it a rest with all the cards of players with no caps on. That repeat of the past I can do without. They are hideous.
