Need help on Wrestling Card Values

I am mostly a baseball card guy but picked up about 100 1985 Wrestling cards in a group deal. They are in pretty much NM shape including 5 Hulk Hogans. Can anyone give me an approximate value for this stuff? About half the lot is the "In Action" cards and half is the individuals. No Andre the Giant except in the "IN Action" cards. Help????? Thanks in advance................

There is one member on the board that is a big time wrestling collector. He could prob help more. My guess is that the hogan cards are prob worth 5 to 10 bucks each. The others don't have too much value. There is a set from 82 that has been selling really well lately.

1985 Topps WWF set with stickers 66/22 go for about $25-50, depends on how u list it and who's looking. Base set without stickers never goes above $25. Cool cards though.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

These are fairly plentiful cards you have. They are the 1985 Topps cards. The Hogan with the yellow background is the high value card in the set and then is followed by the Hogan with the blue background. These cards are very condition sensitive with many being highly off cenetered and most having corner wear. If your Hogan cards are in high grade they would comand a lot more but generally they sell for $2 to $10 in NM or worse shape and about $5 to $15 in NM-Mt shape. I dont recall seeing any mint copies trade un graded and quite frankly there are not many of them graded 9 and there are no 10's of the Hogan card. There is one seller on EBAY BuffetGeek who has had some good luck selling common wrestling cards at high prices but the auctions for most of these cards do not go for much.

  • Hey thanks for the check. The card is in the mail. I think that Flair is a real sleeper, you have made a wise investment. RR
