Paypal Question

I had a deadbeat bidder win an auction on ebay about four weeks ago (23 feedback). Apparently he's delinquent in paying for other items as well because he recently became an NARU. He contacted me yesterday and wants to pay via paypal off-line without going through the ebay links. Is there a risk in accepting this? Might he be able to reverse the charges once he's received the card? It seems odd that his account was just NARU’ed and now he’s very anxious to pay.

Tell him you'd be glad to sell to him if he sends a USPS money order your way. Otherwise, I don't think that you'd be covered under Paypal, as it would be an off ebay sale.
