Tonight's Walmart Report

First off, I should mention that last night I had five 2010 Bowman jumbos and a blaster box of 2010 A & G in my hand (along with some snacks) when I got to the cashier but forgot to bring the right credit card with me that night and all I had was a debit that wasn't going to pay for all this junk. So I made like I had the right card out in the car and the cashier said she would wait but obviously, I just drove off.

So tonight I went back (and felt all eyes were on me) and got 4 2010 Bowman jumbos and instead of the A & G, I thought I'd check out some of the new Score football so I took a $9.98 chance on that.

Okay, the Score football sucked. I hadn't seen a Score card in quite some time and I guess nothing has changed.

I did get a Strasburg in the Bowman mix so all was well. Last week in a pack (from Blowout Cards), I got a Strasburg Chrome. Two good "pack" Fridays.

Oh by the way, these Bowman packs are $4.98 at Walmart - the same ones I've seen going for $10, 11, 12, $20 on eBay and other sites.

I've gone to WalMart and Target, different ones at that, and I still have yet to see one pack of Bowman or A & G. I live in the So. Cal LA/OC area, anyone had any better luck in my neck of the woods?

I did see the bowman blasters at Walmart and some cello pack. But nothing in maybe 3 weeks now.

The Target's in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County have tons of blasters boxes sitting on the shelves, seems like they never move. They also had a Donruss Elite Football blaster box on the shelf, but it rang up at $29.99, so I put it back.

Can I mention again how ugly these Score cards are?

Best-looking modern football card in my opinion: 1999 Bowman.

I was really hoping for some photos from the PEOPLE OF WALMART series..... it's alway fun to see beached whales in thongs and speedos cruising the aisles!
