Do World PCGS submissions take longer than US?

I received my US submission in 8 working days, my World submission is closing in on 20 working days. Do they have fewer World coin graders?

Some, all?, of them are going to Paris now once a month. World coin submissions take a lot longer than US submissions. I sent both a World and US submisssion into PCGS that were entered 6/10. The US submission was shipped back on 7/1. The World submission hasn't been graded yet.

To answer your question, I believe they have fewer World coin graders but don't know that for sure.

  • I could see there being a delay if coins were going to Paris, thanks ajaan.

Coins aren't going to Paris, just the graders. The graders are going to Paris to grade the coins submitted in Paris. The coins sent to CA stay in CA until the graders grade them there.

Life must be rough... going to Paris... I sort of wonder why Paris was selected over London and hopefully food will not be involved as part of the answerimage
