OMG! What a joke! I laughed at the first two '65 baseball packs, but when I got to the '62 Football it was even more of a joke! Look at the folds on that wrapper ... is he friggin kidding? Unfortunately there will be some people who are unaware that they are resealed and will pay good money to buy a bad item.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • but he has all those graded gem mint cards LOL.
he probably will be a top rated seller before long.
what a joke, ebay just wants the money, but what about all those people that will get screwed. "son ebay just wants the money".

I live near Hummelstown, and was contacted in the investigation of a person accused of resealing packs and counterfeiting cards. The DA has contacted me and I'm sending the info to him. If anyone has an address would you PM me?

Where near Hummelstown? I used to live in Middletown. It really sickens me that scumbags like this are living and making money like this in the area. I would always go to the Harrisburg East Mall card shows and I am 100% positive that I talked to this guy in person without even knowing it.

what i really would like to know is who the hell are these idiots that are bidding on these packs?? are they blind or just dumb?? do they simply see the auction title that its an "unopened pack" and dont care what it looks like, just as long as the seller is calling it an unopened pack so then well, it must be an unopened pack??!!

as far as that 62 football "pack" goes, that has to be the most pathetic attempt at creating an unopened pack that i've ever seen; i wouldnt even want that wrapper as a wrapper let alone as a pack!!

If you read his item description, nowhere does he say it is unopened. He just states it is a wax pack. That is assumed, but guys like this try to hide behind the fact that they do not call their product an unopened pack, just wax pack.

All of the 3rd party grading holders (Capitol, Mint, FGA) as well as a '47 Bond Bread Williams (fakes) has the accused waiting for trials name written all over it.

The sad part is that most of the buyers of these packs either a) keep them "sealed" and never learn the harsh truth that the pack is garbage or b) sell the pack to another unsuspecting buyer. These scammers/sellers are counting on one or the other, though every now and then a collector will open a pack and leave a well deserved neg. The experienced unopened collectors just avoid these sellers in the first place and that's another reason they don't get the negs they deserve.
